Marking King Charles III Coronation On Leys Estate

Members of the Burnett family and Lord-Lieutenant Sandy Manson

Lord-Lieutenant Alistair Macphie was joined by members of the Burnett family and Leys Estate team to mark the coronation of King Charles III.

An oak tree was planted at Woodend at Crathes to leave a lasting reminder of this historic moment in British history.

In time, we hope that the spot will become a welcoming and peaceful place at Woodend at Crathes for people to enjoy the stunning views of Deeside, including Scolty Tower which was built by General William Burnett on Scolty Hill.
