Inchmarlo Golf Centre Turns Pink For Breast Cancer Fundraiser

Wear It Pink fundraising at Inchmarlo Golf Centre

Inchmarlo Golf Centre was awash with pink on Tuesday, 14th October, as members and supporters came together for the Ladies Section’s annual Wear It Pink fundraising day in aid of Breast Cancer Now.

Organised by members Susan Collie, Winnie Reid and Aileen Nicol, also known as The Golfateers, the event drew tremendous support from family, friends, neighbouring golf clubs, and the local community from Banchory and beyond.

The event raised £2,138, bringing the total raised by the group during 2025 to an amazing £4,638 for Breast Cancer Now.

Guests enjoyed an impressive spread of home baking and savouries, alongside a fundraising raffle featuring prizes donated by local businesses.

“We were completely overwhelmed by the support we received this year, whether by baking, donating prizes, or simply coming along to show their support. At times, the turnout was so strong that finding a seat was a challenge.” said the organisers.

“It was such a fun and uplifting day, and we’re so grateful to everyone who helped us raise funds for this vital cause.

“Special thanks were given to the team at Inchmarlo Golf Centre for their ongoing support and the use of the Members Lounge, as well as to Great Scot Mills for donating the star raffle prize — a beautiful Pink Ribbon Tartan Poncho.

“Appreciation also goes to Findlaters Smithy, Deeside Photographics, Jane Bowman, Cake Jem, Katsize Lingerie, and Le Precision Hairdresser for their generous prize donations.”
