Christmas Tree Recycling Returns To Hill of Banchory
We are delighted that Hill of Banchory Energy Centre will once again operate as a drop-off point for real Christmas trees to be recycled after the festive season.
Working in partnership with Clan Cancer Support, Leys Estate will also support the charity’s annual Christmas Tree Collection Service by recycling a number of the trees gathered through their campaign. The initiative not only helps reduce waste but also raises valuable funds to support individuals and families affected by cancer across the north-east, Moray, Orkney and Shetland.
Local residents are welcome to bring their real Christmas trees to the Energy Centre during the designated drop-off period from late December (more information will be available soon). Those who would prefer to have their tree collected from home are encouraged to book a slot through Clan’s dedicated collection service.
Further details on collection areas and booking information can be found on Clan Cancer Support’s website.
