Optimum Physio Expands To Meet Growing Demand
Banchory-based Optimum Physio has welcomed a new team member following a rise in demand for one-to-one physiotherapy services.
Cammy Borland (22), who recently graduated with a Master’s in Physiotherapy from Robert Gordon University, has joined the practice, which is based at Banchory Business Centre.
Originally from Edinburgh, Cammy enjoyed his time in Aberdeen so much during his studies that he’s decided to stay in the north-east. A keen golfer, he is particularly looking forward to working with local golfers, helping them recover from injury or improve their performance.
Practice owner Fiona Plender is delighted to welcome Cammy to the team.
She said: “The addition of Cammy is a direct response to increased demand for one-to-one appointments at our Banchory studio. My Pilates classes and home visits are also busier than ever, meaning I’m often away from the studio. With Cammy on board, we can offer more flexibility for clients and reduce waiting times.”
“It’s also important to me to support the next generation of physiotherapists. I’m really looking forward to helping Cammy build his skills and confidence.”
Cammy added: “I’m incredibly grateful to Fiona for the opportunity to join Optimum Physio. As a new graduate, it’s fantastic to work alongside someone with such extensive experience while gaining valuable hands-on time with clients. I’m also looking forward to exploring Banchory and its fantastic golf courses!”
