This summer, we are thrilled to be part of Clan Cancer Support’s BookBench Trail, a vibrant public art project bringing colour, creativity and community spirit to the north of Scotland.

Milton of Crathes is hosting one of the 41 stunning BookBench sculptures located along a 500-mile trail, with 25 benches found in some of Aberdeen’s best-known landmarks. Each sculpture is inspired by stories of hope, resilience and the power of reading, while helping to raise awareness of Clan’s cancer support services.

Visitors can follow the trail using the official event app, collect virtual stamps and learn more about the artwork and artists behind each bench.

Key Dates:

• Trail ends: Monday, 25th August 2025

• Farewell Weekend: Saturday 21st – Sunday 22nd September at Aberdeen Music Hall

• Auction: Wednesday, 8th October – all proceeds go to Clan Cancer Support
