The official opening of the river ahead of the 2026 season. Organised by the Dee District Salmon Fishery Board, hosted at Milton Brasserie and the Crathes Castle beat. 

Monthly food and produce markets are held within the Courtyard at Milton of Crathes on the second Sunday of each month between 10am and 4pm.
