The Met Office has issued an amber weather warning from 1pm on Friday, 24th January until 6am on Saturday, 25th January for very strong southwesterly winds.  A yellow warning is also in place from 3am until 12noon on Friday, 24th January for snow for large parts of northeast Scotland, including the Banchory and Crathes areas.

With winds expected to gust in excess of 80mph we ask that people avoid visiting Estate woodland during this time due to the increased risk of fallen or hanging trees.
? In the case of any resulting tree damage, please avoid affected areas until our team has had the opportunity to clear areas and make them safe.
? With flooding expected in places we also advise against people visiting the banks of the River Dee or other watercourses on the Estate while the weather warnings are in place.
Please stay safe ?
